In the SIR Branch 93 Golf program we normally
play one Tournament of Golf each week at courses within about a one-hour
drive of Sacramento. The Annual
Schedule provides information on the dates, locations and costs of
each week’s Tournaments. Golf Committee
Full 2010 Golf Committee Each month Signup Sheets are available on this Web Site and are mailed with the Bulletin for the Tournaments for the following month. Those Signup Sheets are then turned in by 11:30 AM during the Happy Hour before the Monthly Luncheon Meeting. All fees are due at the time your Signup Sheet is turned in. If you have a group you normally play with all of you should submit your information together on one sheet. Golfers that do not sign up as a full group of four will be paired up by the Golf Committee. The Pairing Sheets / Starting Times are assembled by the Golf Committee as soon as possible after each Monthly Meeting. They are then posted to the Web site and are available at the Sign In table at the Golf Course. Contact Don Falkenhagen by email as early as possible if you have any changes. Events, Results, and Prizes: Only "active" members of our NCGA/SIR 93 Golf Club are eligible to play in events and to participate in the related awards. (However, we have specific guest privileges.) NCGA handicap indexes are used and, where appropriate, Local Indexes are assigned. Our tournaments have five flights with prize points awarded for four places in each flight. An additional prize point is awarded for lowest net score. At the end of the golf season at a special golf event, prizes are awarded based on points accumulated. Membership Information. Document. See link to left on this paragraph. In June and September SIR Branch 93 will hold a Golf Tournament in Carson City. These Tournaments are great chance to get away and play different courses. Follow the link to the Current Brochure for additional details. A number of additional Golfing opportunities are available through the
Area 3 and
State Golf
programs. These opportunities include local, area, and state
tournaments. In addition there a number of travel
opportunities. A popular Tournament that is the November Tournaments
