Duties of Committee Chairmen
ATTENDANCE: Provides monthly Attendance Reports to the Executive Board. Distributes and collects Branch Badges.
SUNSHINE: Secures information about illness and deaths. Sends get-well cards. Sends sympathy cards. Announces illness and deaths at
meetings.
EDITOR: Collects Branch 93 news. Organizes news for printer. Delivers to printer. Printer handles printing, mailing, and maintains mailing list with updates from editor.
HOUSE: Arranges head table for lunches.
MEMBERSHIP: Maintains active membership lists. Assigns numbers. Distributes and receives new member applications. Gives secretary a membership record card. Prepares new member packages. Helps install new members. Notifies members of attendance issues based on the
Bylaws.
BOWLING: In August, organizes teams. Informs members of League Bowlers Meeting and winter schedule. Team captains responsible for collecting monies and keeping scores. Reports through bulletin and meetings information about bowling. Notifies members of awards and time and place of Awards Dinner each spring.
GOLF: Arranges frequent golf events with local courses. Arranges pairings for each event. Maintains records of prize winners. Organizes the annual Awards Luncheon. Supervises maintenance of golfers' handicaps. Oversees responsibilities of Golf Committee Treasurer. Reports at monthly meeting and through bulletin about golf activities.
WEBMASTER: Maintains the SIR 93 Web Site.
