The Chair for Bowling is George Farrell. He can be reached at 427-7405. The Fall bowling season is in full swing and you may wish to be a substitute bowler if you are unsure about joining a SIR league. Two SIR leagues bowl at Country Club Lanes at Watt and El Camino Avenues. They meet at 12 noon and start practice bowling at 12:20pm with actual bowling starting at 12:30pm. The league meeting on Tuesdays consists of thirty 4 member teams and charges $6 for three games. The league meeting on Wednesdays consists of ten 4 member teams and charges $8 for three games. Bowling Results since 2/23/2010 - George Farrell Bowling is fun and if you would like to give it a try you could start as a substitute bowler. Just show up at Country Club Lanes on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 12 noon and talk to the league secretary. I forgot to mention Jack Dye as one of our bowlers in the last issue. My apology to Jack for being patient with me. Listed below are the 200 games and the 500-600 series bowled since February 23,2010. These are from weeks 25, 26 27 and 28 of the 33 week season. Also listed are the splits some of our bowlers picked up.
